I just pulled up a couple videos I shot in september this past hunting season. The first clip is working the bull a bit. You get to here me doing some half assed calling and the bull responding. My reeds were about worn out from my permit hunt that started september first. When I do alot of hyper cow calling with my reeds theyget wore out pretty quick as Im using quite a bit of pressure to get the sound I want to make. This calling on the video is pretty laid back as the bull was pretty much what I call a simple bull to call in. Nothing special here just cow calls and bugles. The second clip you actually get to see the bull . Hes a pretty nice bull, most would probably shoot him if they had a tag.

Enjoy the video's. Just remember these are uncut unedited video, just raw footage right out of my camera.

That second bull is a dandy.  Yes, i would have shot him.  I couldn't tell if you passed or if you didn't have a shot?
Looks like he got your wind around 9:18.

That was the second time I had that bull come in. I was trying to get the dumb spikes in for a shot for my wife . The clip before this one that is too long to post I had this bull at 30 yards. This time he was 45 or so. He would have been dead . I actually called this bull in again 2 days latter and was using the Phelps  call you made me , even videoed the call so people could see  :chuckle:

:chuckle: John thats funny as hell!!

Ohhhh, it was down there.  I thought it was on your hunt (was wondering why you were passing).

Sweet videos !!!  I need to start filming this year.  I need a few phelps calls aswell where would carry them?  I was watching the prime time outdoors and the calls sound good and seem to get it done.  These vids are getting me excited for snow to melt!
