Yesterday was insane. Lots of fish caught. 4 ~ 7 for our boat. Most were caught trolling. Even had time to go get a keeper sturgeon.

From reports I am hearing, the lower Cowlitz is picking up as well....
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

We limited the boat in an hour Friday   :IBCOOL:  and did not touch a fish saturday or sunday, word on the street is they let a bunch of water out of bonniville and the fish made a b-line.   :bash:
Hunting and Fishing are not matters of life or death... THEY ARE WAY MORE IMPORTANT!!!

We fished down below longview on wednesday and launched the boat at 7:30 and were done by 2PM 3 fish with one hog 31lber. the other 2 were about 10-12.  went friday and there was a good bite around noon and we caught 3 fish in an hour.  One was a native so we let it go and fished the rest of the afternoon but the water was coming up fast and I think that put the fish off the bite.  Gonna start hitting the cowlitz soon, should be good the next few weeks.  If the run comes in as forecasted that is.

My buddy stayed Sat and Sun and they got four on Sat and three on Sun, out of four people on the boat...  Trolling on the weekend up the inner slough versus outside edge of island across from the boat ramp at Kalama...

I was on the outside edge of the island across from the ramp. I saw one boat land a fish. Lots of people out there early in the morning. I launched my boat at 330 am. and when I went to the upper side of the island there was already 15 boats.  :chuckle:  Marked lots of fish on the fish finder. Had a few good size chunks of wood float by.  :chuckle:  That was my first trip down there from Ellensburg and dont think I will be doing that trip ever again. I will just wait for them to get over the dam before I head out.
