First Turkey Hunt
« on: April 21, 2012, 07:34:28 AM »
Took my grandson on our first turkey hunt and had just a great time. We listened to stories and all the how too on here but found out those Turkeys are smart and can really see. Could not beleive how they could fly straight up to the top of trees a 100 feet high to roost. Did;nt really have calling down but good enogh we could get them going in the morning For first timers we did really well and got our birds and took them to John in colville at willow creek the hunt was more fun than I thought it would be but now it looks like another thing to look forward too.

Here are Del's pictures.  He still can not get them to post.

By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.
