Had a excellent day yesterday near Longview... First few hours dead, nothing pulled anchor several times and then moved into a Sturgeon school yard.... 15 Sturgeon to the boat between two of us. Only a slight problem, 13 were under sized, a few real close to 42" most in the 35" range but two over 60" one was 65" and the other was my biggest beast to date measured six foot to bottom of his tail so had maybe 6-10" inches left of him, so I figure 6 1/2' foot for certain. Can't imagine what a 10 footer is like....
What a fun fish, exactly 32 minutes to bring him close to release him for another day. Four times to the boat for him to say goodbye for another fifty feet of line, he came completely air borne on one jump.... Tough to get a pic when the fish won't remain still for a photo...
