Wife Got her First Bird Last night
« on: April 25, 2012, 08:13:08 AM »
Not much of a story.... My wife and I got permission from a friend of ours to Hunt their property. They told us that some birds had been hanging out by one of their barns. So my wife work her way over to the barn and there was a big ole tom just standing there on the back side of the barn and she smoked at 10 yards. It was her first Kill. No big game yet, that come's this Fall :D Not sure on exact Beard length or spurs took it to taxi last night for a full mount.  Beard is around 9+ inches and had around 3/4 inch spurs.

Hunting will never be the same again...You're now Doomed forever!!

Very nice bird.  The first ones are always the best.  I am very happy for her!  You are still doomed, but I am very happy for her :chuckle:
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

:yeah: My wife started hunting with me about 5 years ago and now I cant ever seem to go without her!  Its not all bad though because she is a pretty good shot and doesnt mind the dirty work.  You are doomed forever, but enjoy the time with her.
