Wolf tracks near Joe Watt feed station

Received these pictures in a email. Taken on the Taneum canal ditch bank between Joe Watt and Robinson Canyon. For those few that think the shed hunters scared the elk out of the Joe Watt feed station, think again!

Wolves at Joe Watt =   BAD IDEA!!!!!!!!!

Knew it was only a matter of time.... IF it is a wolf track and not some farmers dog...  Lot of farms and dogs running free over there..


Let the slaughter begin next winter come feeding time.....

 

So much for getting pictures there from now on...unless it is one of elk being eaten alive by a wolf pack...

That's outside of the elk fence , I'd suspect that its a dog from one of the farms . If a wolf was going to go after those elk he most likely would have crossed over in Rattle snake canyon where there's no fence , if in fact he came from the teannaway .

Tracked em in the snow in Robinson last year or year before.  We talked about if they were the teanaway bunch or not (prior to them being acknowledged in the Teanaway of course.

I wish you were right, but I (and I'm sure many others) suspect they have migrated into the area.

Yeah,It's east of the elk fence about a half mile.And it's isn't no farmer's dog. Sam kayser said in the daily record last mouth there were 6 set's of wolf tracks in the joe watt  feed station.I would bet it's a different pack than the teanaway .Elk get through the elk fence,so it wouldn't be hard for the wolves.

I'm with Killmore, plenty of places for wolves to go through the elk fence. I know who took that picture and have the same pic on my computer and I'm pretty sure it is a wolf. They don't have to migrate from the Teanaway to show up in Joe Watt when they already live there and have for awhile. Can't wait to see what happens next winter when the wolves set up camp and start killing the Elk that the WSGD is making tons of money off of. I wonder if they will let them chase and kill the feedlot Elk all winter or if they will do something about it.

When the wolves start feeding at the feed stations (its only a matter of time) I bet the WDFW will let them have their fill and only after there is a public out cry will they even acknowledge the wolves are even there. Then they will probably trap and relocate them.
