A guy from Chewelah shot a nice 6x6 elk that turned out to be a cow. This was in the 49 unit.

I think he mistook the antlered female caraboo for moose since I know female caraboo have antlers.

That's how we know Santa's Reindeer are girls. Only the females still have their antlers in December.
