Why do you ask?  I would say no most of the time but I am pretty sure I have seen a cow elk that had little spikes once.  I also saw this fawn that kept trying to nurse on what I thought was a buck.  Pictures are really crappy but you can see the antler nubs and the fawn is underneath.  Might have been a doe with antlers.

Was talking with my worker/driver bus driver a few days ago about my son possibly getting drawn for youth moose.  He warned me that my son would get drawn, shoot a moose and then never get to shoot another one in WA.  That's why I started the other thread a few days ago.

With input from you guys and a call to WDFW, I confirmed that the moose OIL tag was for antlered moose and that antlerless was as often as you could draw the tag.  I told him this info yesterday and he said that he had heard that female moose had antlers.  I thought he was wrong so I asked.  I think he mistook the antlered female caraboo for moose since I know female caraboo have antlers.

In general female moose do not have antlers but there is the very rare occasion that some females of deer species grow antlers. This is very rare and in general they do not. I would say less than 1% demonstrate this rare oddity. Good luck to you guys on the hunt.
