Good deal mike. Best eating salmon around. I got my first of the year the other day. How many fish did you guys end up with? Was it just you and your buddy that has been fishing there?

Sweet! I heard things were picking up down there. Now just need it hot enough to justify fuel costs. I agree with Carp, best eating salmon there is.

Nice fish and great eating.  Got one on the Cowlitz two weeks ago.  You didn't paint your boat blue and take the top off, did you? :chuckle:

A little on the warm side.  That sounds horrible how do you manage to fish on those nice sunny days.

Did anyone see the guy that  rammed the lund boat. My partner was fishing out there with his parents and there was someone that wasnt watching where they were going and rammed into his new lund. The gye let off at the last second or it would have been alot worse i was told!! The gye just took off after that. I think it was last sat. or sunday.

Lots of really stupid people there not knowing what the heck they are doing.  Hopefully no one got injured.  There were boats and trailers everywhere on a Monday!   There were alot of folks following what others were doing, then there were the idiots going against the total flow, weaving in and out---trolling and wondering why they were getting tangled.  Saw one guide tangled atleast four or five times and didn't see a net fly...  And then there is the two rod guys, can't control their boat with one rod each and they are trying with two rods each!  All about the two rod endorsement if it is feasible for sure, but in close qrts, give it a break......
