Monster rock chuck and his dead buddies
« on: May 10, 2012, 08:59:49 PM »
Took my parts gun to the orchard again today.
Killed 16 chucks from 70 yards out to 291 yards. The big bastid was at 246 yards.
The last picture was at 291, he only gave me a head/ neck shot, so I shot him in the neck.

Where most of the shots were fired:

Oversized male:

Family of 4, is no more..

291 yard kill.

What caliber?  What brand of silencer are you using?
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

For a "parts gun" it sure looks like it shoots!!! Especially hitting a neck at 291 yards

HSM 55 grain sp 223 Remington. Gemtec M-4 can.
I normally run my reloads, but I had a box floating around in the truck.
Yep, Lieca 8X w/ range finder (Goevid's)
