Thank you for the input!  I will definetly be using it.  So what is C-post?

It is a fictional hunting spot some jackwagons made up. There actually is a road named C-post just outside of Oso on Highway 530, but it dead ends at a trailhead to Myrtle Lake. There used to be a clear cut in there about 25 years ago and the road went all the way to the top of the ridge, but it was decomissioned in the 90's. So pay no attention to the C-post references best of luck this season!
Ok.  I was really getting confused.  Thanks!

Yep.....99% of anything with the "c-post" term is hogwash. I stand by my suggestion with Bearpaw though.....could be a great resource to get ahead of the learning curve.

That's the same thing I've been hearing from everywhere.  I'm trying to get a hunt set up with him in Oct., but if that doesn't work you better bet I'll be trying to chase local blacktails!

C-post, do you mean the road up north near Arlington?

Yes C-post rd....take C-post, go about 4 miles an the road will rear to the right..park there, then head in.  I have always seen nice numbers in there..

Aside from all the joking around.  Look in the hunting partner section.  If you can get someone in your family to go with you, that would be a win win
