This is an example of how working together to defeat threats to our freedoms can be successful.  Take a stand for what you believe in.  Be active in protecting our rights and our freedoms.

Great post.

I was really proud of everyone for showing up. Would have / should have. ...  I should have supported this. I should check my email to see when events need me to be there. I was there, but I was working, I had to walk in and out of the protesters, crap I should have taken the day off. These kind of issues are our issues and worthy of our support.

I noted the protesters were well manered and well dress and most appreared to be (no offense, wish I was there) retired. It really got the commissioners attention, all the entrances were covered protesters seem to be every were. I noticed a senior official from the Sheriff's monitoring the situation, but he did not look concerned, it looked like he approved.

I do want to thank everyone who protested, you guys lead the way. Also everyone who sent in emails. Paul
There are only so many sunrises left.

Thank you.  This is a very good message to others.

Work schedules can make participation in these events difficult.  However, all who read these communications about attacks on our freedoms can always help spread the word and write a few emails.  Our worst enemy is that many people simply don't know when these threats are looming in the background.  We can help to bring these threats to our freedoms into the spotlight and fight back.  Doing nothing is not an option.

Thank you again for your post.
