Shad
« on: May 19, 2012, 06:12:32 PM »
The shad are here. Been seeing about 2-3 dozen a day caught off of Steamboat landing dock in Washougal.

I have some in the freezer now and can put some away if any one wants some.
It's not true that I am good for nothing---I can be used as a bad example!!

Yeah I seen they are starting over the Boneville, around mid June I hope it hot and heavy.  I will make at least a run down there if it gets hot to load up on them for crab bait.  Best crab bait I have used!!!

I'd be interested in a half dozen to ten depending on your space available.  Will be down in Vancouver about July 7, maybe sooner but not sure.

what do you guys use shad for? do you eat them, or just use them for bait?
catch it. kill it. cook it. eat it.
Forget the bear spray, use wasp killer. Concentrated delivery stream, 10X the product, and only $3.00 on sale.

I smoke two fish in the morning, I smoke two fish at night, I smoke two fish in de afternoon makes me feel alright

Went out for the first time this year below McNary, caught about 20 in 2 hours.
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.
