Going bear & wolf hunting
« on: May 25, 2012, 01:55:10 PM »
Headed out for a day of watching crazy folks go over the Lochsa Falls and then 5 days of bear and wolf hunting in Unit 10 over in Idaho.  I'll try and take a bunch of photos and I hope to have some good lies...er stories when I get back.  :)   :hello:

Fred,

I've got a 2012 Wolf tag, so you can keep me posted on sightings so I don't have to do any work  :chuckle:. I have my quad licensed and ready to go for Idaho. I'm going over to Wallace to Avery June 13th for 3 days then to Elk City June 28th for 5 days to do some scouting for later in the year.

I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

Atleast that is where I plan to punch a couple tags  :IBCOOL:

Well the bait is in, the treestand is hung and I'm back home due to bad brakes on the truck.  I had to limp home a loooong ways.  Hopefully I'll have the truck in on Thursday and get back after them this weekend.  I saw literally hundreds of wolf tracks this weekend.  Did not hear any howling.  Looking forward to going back down in a few days and see how the bait is going.  Awesome country, 62 miles from the nearest pavement.

Just AWESOME country

Enjoy!  That looks awesome. I hope a wolf (and bear) crosses your path, I would like to see the pictures and hear the story.
