Anyone in for Dove?
« on: August 28, 2012, 03:08:11 PM »
Is anyone planning on hunting opening day of Dove season and would like another gun around a field?  I would love to join a group and help keep the birds flying.   :IBCOOL:

I’m an extremely safe hunter and I’ve hunted dove for 20+ years.  I would certainly welcome meeting some new hunting friends (new to WA), for fun and fellowship.

I live in Redmond, but I'm thinking of hunting somewhere on the East side - maybe somewhere in Grant County.

Thanks,
Carl

I've never thought about it but we're absolutely swimming in doves here in Shelton.  Can't walk 20 feet in the Green Diamond land behind my house without kicking one up

Hi DoubleJ,

Is that really an option?  I'm not familiar with that area.

Thanks,
Carl

Interesting. I see a few doves here and there mostly just at the house.

Might just be out at Timberlakes then.  There are a couple of hundred acres of GD land around Timberlakes.  They are everywhere.  I figure they live around the houses and then spill into the logging land.  My dog goes nuts when I walk him back there because they are flying and cooing all over the place.
