Tim, not sure what you are using for broadheads, but if it's a replaceable blade type head, this is what I do myself. Next year, I wouldn't personally use any of the blades from the broadheads that have been riding around this year in your quiver, but I do save them and use them as practice blades next summer, then you can start practicing with broadheads earlier in the year. Then install new blades to go hunting. In the case of say thunderheads or Muzzy's, you can use the same broadhead ferrule over and over again as long as it's straight. I used to shoot thunderheads and had around 15-18 animals on my first six pack of ferrules. Just replaced the blades every year and made sure the ferrule spins true with the arrow and your good to go. I shoot Sonic's now and have been practicing with them for the last month.
