If they change the draws in washington I know of a ton of people that would quit applying because they do not have max points. Id quit applying for everyting actually since I have no max points at all. Im sure they would lose some seriouse dough if they did that. I got 10 for all my oil tags , 12 for deer . Id have no chance if 70 % Went to max. But in all reality I would really care less and hunt out of state since it isnt that much more to go out of state for way better hunting than what is here in this dump of a state.

 :yeah: x2

If they went 50% 10pts & up, 50% random, the system would start to get good! Leave it like it is and more then likeally you will never draw a tag with horns in this state in your lifetime..

I respectfully disagree with every ones comments about how horrible this State is and how it's a dump! This is my state of residents and I respect every aspect about it. I do not respect those that make decisions for us that makes no sense at all! The problem with the decisions that they make is that its not transparent! If it was we would all see the flaws that are written! The states not a dump, the hunting is great in the State of Washington and we all need to respect the land/animals and we can respectfully disagree with those in charge and let them know why we do!!

Change it to something similar to what you propose and our kids will never draw a tag in this state. That’ll be the end of hunting.

My kids will never have a chance at any top units in Oregon because of their draw system.

No really this state is a dump literally. Ive never seen more garbage spread out all over the damn place. Heck I went to Idaho and montana 2 weekends ago and never seen a pile of garbage. This state is a dump and ran by some seriouse idiots.

Permits are extra.  Go kill in genral season.  Work a little at it.  I don't think its ever gonna get better.  Not in wa.  I'll be going east as soon as I can afford it.  Idaho genral season should open my eyes even more to how bad wa is.  I'm not just leaving this dump for better hunting.  More so for a better quality of life. I'll start my sons permits in other states so when he's ten he'll have a wy bull tag to fill.

Maybe for your boy.  I couldn't make him wait he wouldn't let me.  He shoots a diamond iceman 30# 18.5 " draw compound and he's 6. Good groups at 10 yards but he just got the hang of it.  He only wants to archery hunt.  Next year he turns 8 in oct but hell be taking hunters Ed before that.  Good luck on the draw!!!

I still say drop the point system all together then there will be no more crying. It would be a free for all for everyone  :chuckle: At least with out point system if you got a chit load of points your odds are way better . What is not fair about that? I guess the problem is that people think they are entitled to a good tag but . Looking at it that way is crap. I have always looked at the draws as a bonus. If I get drawn hell yeah. If not well Im still hunting.
