Did you meet up with the guy from work that might sell his muzzleloader yet? Do you know what model it is ? And how much did he use it also. What kind of price is he asking for it?

Don;t use pellets in it I loaded three pellets in ours and missed a 6 point bull at 30 feet the bullet fell out and all it did was shoot powder at him. Is funny now but not then .

What would that have to do with the bullet falling out? And - any clue on what caused it to fall out? Improper size, reused?

-My dad and I were shooting his white and after loading the bullet with the ramrod the bullet came flying out when I pulled the ramrod out.. Im not a fan of whites! But you can shoot them several times without running a patch through.. I wish he would get rid of it and get a BigHorn :chuckle:

The pellets made the bullet not seat deep enough to hold it it would work with 2 pellets but not 3 as soon as you lowered the barrell the bullet would fall out. They were the virgin lead bullets for the white. Might work in some whites but did;nt in ours.

It is probably just the bullets you were using... Whites normally have an over bore, so the conical needs to be a bit larger than normal.  What/which White do you have?
