Blury on computer but clear on camera?----Pics added
«
on:

Can someone help me with this? The pictures look perfect on my LCD screen but they seem out of focus on the computer. I'm using a Kodak easyshare z812is. I've tried at different MP and nothing appears to be working. I've also tried resizing them on windows live viewer and... Well I'm here asking for help so nothing I'm trying is working.

I would guess, without seeing the original photo, that it isn't really as sharp as it appears to be on the little LCD camera screen.
can you post it so we can see it?

Check the resolution settings on your camera...most cameras you can adjust the size...so you can store more pics on the card. You might have it set pretty low...

After reviewing my photos, I figured out the most clear and sharp photos I have are in the 4mp. range vs the maximum mp. of 8 my camera is capable of. Is this normal?

Set the camera to the 8mp(MP=Mega Pixels) setting, more pixels, sharper image......the down side, your card will hold fewer pictures

Take it to the store you bought it from. They will usually explain everything to you, or may know of a defect.

If you take a look at the pic I posted in the POTM contest that was taken at 3mp, this morning with manual focus and aperture priority setting. I think I had th iso set to high on the above pictures and I was using the zoom outside of the focal length. I did a lot of reading last night, I guess I was just confused as to how my moon pictures will come out sharp but I couldn't get a good picture of a bird at 40ft. It was probably because I was zoomed in as far as the camera would go.
