Cascade congrats on your bull tag I put in for the peaches with 7 points and nothing. A friend of mine has 9 points and put in for alkali and got zip.I can't wait either fireguy I hunted with a couple guy's last year out there. I was a pusher. they had archery tag and I saw 4 bucks that were over 25 and 1 over 30 inches . I dream about that big one all the time. Dman I will take a ton of pic for you guys.

My son had an Alkali doe tag last year. We didn't hunt long but saw a buck that was probably 25-26 inches wide with lots of kickers. we were in area 10 but i don't think there are any bad area's in the whole YTC.

I spent two years trying to get a 32 inch buck on film out there, but never did.  Elusive *censored*.  I think old age claimed him, or  un exploded ordinance, as he would have made front page.  I also measured a shed that was picked up out there that scored 90 inches typical.  Nice antler.

i pulled these off another site...
hopefully nobody minds.
according to the info, the top 2 are "probably" from the YTC.

Fireguy, to get an idea of the average buck you can go to the YTC's website and under the recreational program they list the previous year's bucks by antler size, weight, etc..

There is some monsters out there but i think the average buck is 18-20 inches wide. A buddy had the tag last year and he said he shot at monster, but you dont know what a monster is in some peoples eyes.

I have never hunted it, but I see great deer come out of there every year.  I have heard the archery hunt is tough.  Looks like you are  pulling up older Desert threads.  There's lots of them on here.  Good idea.  I have read a few of them where bow hunters scored.
Good luck man!
