Tenzing 6000 pack?
« on: June 07, 2012, 02:33:44 PM »
Anyone have one yet?  Looking at getting a new pack and it is a toss up for me between the Tenzing and the Horn hunter Full Curl system.  both packs seem like they would both work well for what I am going to be doing (and the price is right) but there isn't much in the way of reviews for either of them.  Thanks! Brian.

I've been checking them out, but with all the other high end packs out there that have already proved themselves, I'm going to have to wait a year or so and get some reviews.

The Tenzing has been out for less than a month, so to get a review, you may need to wait a while. But, there is a general overview of the Tenzing on Rokslide.com.

There is no one in my area that is carrying them till sept  :dunno: You know my big beef with them so far is the fact that they are yet to make good video of their packs and posted them up for all to see! I even emailed them and asked if they would do just this and they said " they were in the works" that was almost 3 months ago  :dunno: I would like to get a good pack before mid summer, and don't want to spend $100 in fuel to go to cabelas just to look at them!

I think I just solved my problem. While researching the Tenzing pack I came across the ELK 101 forum and on there they say the packs are produced in China.   :bash:  So, I belive it will be the Horn Hunter, made in the USA.

They are made in China!?!? What a bunch of crap. I'm glad I bought a Mystery Ranch instead.
