Depending on the weather but usually yes, dont over use the bugle if ya got one. Just remember ur hunting public land and many morons over cow call and educateds bulls/cows.

the best bulls will be locked up in the nasty steep timber by then so calls wont help much .You  may get a lil whistle back but I'd plan on going stealth and getting as far in as possible to harvest a dandy .
