Wyoming antelope question
« on: May 17, 2024, 10:44:30 PM »
A friend and I are sitting on 14 antelope points going into this year’s Wyoming draw. I know we can probably pull a pretty decent tag with those points. He’s chomping at the bit to go this year and I’m a little hesitant because of the winter die off 2 years ago. Would you wait or go ahead? I know antelope take about 3-5 years to mature so I’m leaning towards waiting another year or two. But I also know some units weren’t affected as bad as others. Just hate to burn all over a decade worth of points because we were too impatient to wait a couple more years. I’ve been to Wyoming twice before for antelope so this will probably be my last hurrah. Just got other things on the priority list. Thanks.

I’d definitely wait
The lazy do not roast any game, but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.
