Website is returning a fetch error when trying to log in  :bash:

:yeah:  I've tried dozens of times using 5 different browsers and keep getting the same error.

Finally was able to log in… and was surprised to see that I had finally drawn elk with 13 points, but no luck on deer. My wife also drew elk with 6 points. Wish we wouldn’t have both drawn in the same year, but oh well.
You could turn hers in and get her points back, then, jump on her points next year so your not stuck with 1.
You get your multi season points back if you turn it back in?
Not if you apply for SP's.
So if you return it before you apply for special permits you get your points back?
YES

how would one return a multi-season permit and get their points back? wouldn't you just not purchase the tag? but pretty sure once you've been selected you lose your points, regardless if you buy it or not... both my MS categories are now at 0 since I was drawn for both this year - I have not yet purchased either. I could see how applying for any special permits would lock you in. But assuming you haven't bought the tag or applied for special permits, what is the process to "return" ?

there is a lot of conflicting info on this.

All depends on who you talk to at wdfw. I was told I couldn't, then other people were able to days later. If you don't like the answer you get, just call back and talk to somebody else  :chuckle:

Yup, just call them, if you don’t want the tag and it’s before the deadline to buy or deadline for special permits, you should get points back.  The sooner the better.
“In common with”..... not so much!!

this sounds about like our government... instead of having set rules that consistently apply there is a lot of gray area and "depends who you talk to"... haha

I had MS deer last year and got elk this year with 4 points. I'll buy the elk tag so I can apply for some special hunts I otherwise wouldn't with my usual ML tag. I don't usually apply for deer permits so I'll just sit on the MS deer option. Have until end of July to purchase which gives me some time and flexibility to make my fall plans - I'll eat a point for that.
