Help choosing bow for 14 year old he can grow with

I am looking for a bow with adjustable draw length and draw weight for my 14 year old son.  There is not a lot of information on these bows.  either heavy duty hunting bows, target bows or just toy bows.  any suggestions are appreciated.

I got my 11y daughter a vortex by barnett I think at cabelas 150$.  It goes up to 45lb and has adjustable draw and weight.  Cam things can be changed easily for draw.  The sight and rest pretty cheap but a cheap sight and whisker bisquit solved it.  It shoots decent. Good learning bow and you could hunt with it when max out.  Cheap for beginner.  I have it at 27lb and 24inch draw now and shes shooting ten yards decently..

My 13 yr old is shooting a Diamond Razor Edge (note: they have one called just "Razor" this is a different bow).  It is adjustable 30 - 60 pounds and something like 22 - 30 inches in draw length.  This is a "real" bow, not a toy you will need to trade out if you want to hunt.  There are others, but this is what we're using and we're plenty happy with it.

Mission Craze would be my choice..15-70#, 19-30" of adjustment, for $299. Also take a look at the Bear Apprentice II. A little smaller with just a little less adjustment.

Having shot a razors edge and seen how far they can be adjusted, I really suggest you take a look at one.  They are an extremely good deal.  My daughter just outgrew her diamond Nuclear Ice, and a Razors Edge or Infinite Edge is in her future.   I think the Inifite replaces the Razors for 2013, or maybe it's a slightly upgraded version.

 My kids use a Mathews Genesis, it works for all draw lengths and is pull weight adjustable.

I got the same bow last year for my son. He loves it and has even won some awards.
Very adjustable with just a few wrenches and can even be adjusted in the field. No bow press or extra modules for adjusting. Only change we made was putting a good drop-away on it.

Razor edge is a good bow, but I think the Craze is a better bow.  Might have been renamed this year though???

That's what I was going to say!!  For $350 brand new and they will shoot them all their lives.

My vote is the Razer Edge, got my step-daughter one 2yrs ago and she still shoots it. she is 16 now and has enjoyed shooting 3-ds with it. picked it up cheap from a friend who show it and she was 30

For a lot of bow for a small price the Bowtech Soldier can be found on eBay for around $250- $300. With a #45 - #60 draw it can scale up as he grows up and gets stronger.
It is a smaller bow but has plenty of power and is my bow of choice for deep forest hunts as it is smaller and easier to maneuver with in tight quarters.

+1000  I bought a mission maniac when I was 15 and had a 25 inch draw and pulled 56. im now 19 and I use the same bow now at 28 in draw and 70lbs. It kills critters. Ill prolly upgrade this year for *censored*s and gigs but its still an awesome bow for the money

friend of mine got the craze for his girl, neat little bow, bear makes a bow with the same adjustability, looks like a copy of it, called the bear Outbreak, but it is priced the same as the mission craze.. of of these two is probably what my boy will get in a year or two..
