520 hoping to lash a tag to a buck.

I harvested a 100" buck in Oregon's early season, so I am going to scout, cam, and bait areas in 520 this week.

I'm still learning a few areas, and will be hunting the west (wet) side.  I've never archery hunted late season  elk, so i'm not sure what to expect.  I'm guessing it's gonna be a spot and stalk game.  Hopefully I can at least spot something!
Deer would be a bonus, Guess i'll be trying for both at the same time!
Good luck everyone!

I will be in unit 233, (town of Conconulley) at my friends place. He has a trailer across from the state park with a moose and caribou rack on it...driving a red toyota landcruiser (new fj sytle) . Anybody in the area stop by. I'll be hunting on my own. Should be up there the last week of deer season!

I thought I heard that the big buck was taken in the Winthrop area.

If so, that would be 218 or 224, neither of which is open for the late archery season.    :dunno:
