Cougar Sealing Locations?

Does anyone have the list of locations for reporting cougar hide sealing/teeth etc?  Isn't there a location in Orting, WA? I looked through the regs & didnt see anything. Thanks in advance.

Copied from page 60 of the hunting regs:

Mandatory Hide Sealing Requirements:
All successful cougar hunters must contact a
WDFW office within 72 hours of killing a
cougar to schedule a hide sealing appointment.

Pelts must be sealed within 5 days of kill. The
skull and hide (both non-frozen) must be
presented so that teeth and biological samples can
be taken. Placing a stick or wedge in the cougar's
mouth after harvesting it, aids in the removal
of teeth. Ensure proof of sex is left attached
to pelt. No one may possess an open WDFW
cougar seal unless it has been cut by a licensed
taxidermist or fur dealer who has received and
invoiced the pelt for processing.

You have to call the office and arrange a time and location.

Umm ya I already read that but it doesn't list a location or phone # & the cougar website page listed isn't working when I tried.

I would probably just try calling 360-902-2515. That's the Olympia number for the Wildlife Program.

They'd get you in touch with the appropriate person.

Sorry about that, was thinking you thought there was an established set of locations set-up/listed somewhere.

You could give the number bobcat suggested a try or call the Region 6 office which covers the Orting area @ (360) 249-4628.

Thanks. I was aiming for the Orting one as its close & didn't want to drive an hour to Olympia.

You dial 9-1-1 and tell them it's a non emergency and you need to have a WDFW cop contact you about sealing a critter. There are no set locations for sealing animals.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

No Sir, I am not mistaken, yes, you probably have done it several times with no problems.  But that doesn't mean it is the correct use of that number.  It has always been stated that 9-1-1 is an EMERGENCY ONLY line, since its creation.

Does it stop people from misusing it?  No, clearly it does not.
