$1400+ and the reserve is still not met. I could buy a lot of hunting gear for that.

I don't live too far from Dayton.  Makes me want to go shed hunting.

Who would buy a pair of sheds that actually hunts? I'd just as soon go on a canned hunt.

While I've never been shed hunting I imagine its a good way to find their habitat and recon the land.

Those are some monster sheds, don't know why anyone would personally want to shell out the money for some sheds they didn't find themselves. Though I could see a company like cabelas buying them to mount and put on display at one of their many stores.

The reason that someone would want to buy those sheds is to make money. if you could get them for $2,000, turn around and mount them on another skin you could probable sell the mount for $7,000. Thats a really large bull. I knew a guy that owned a trailer park, he paid $500 - $1500 for 300 class animals to put over the entry way into the park. Nothing special about them.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.
