Small pack of wet wipes are the best thing ever! I laughed at my brother the first time I saw him with them, now I never leave the car without them!

A trick that I do when I am going back in for a few days is to dehydrate the wipes before I go in and then re-hydrate them when I get next to some water.  That way my pack is a bit lighter going in.

Becareful,  that the water source you put your meat in to cool is fast enough moving water that leaches won't be a problem...  Got lucky and checked meat within a half hour of trying to cool it down in pillow cases and founds hundreds of leaches trying to attach themselves..  Faster water in a different creek solved that problem..

don't play off symptoms just because you had oysters night before on the campfire...

next day emergency appendectomy after 35 mile trip from camp to hospital (good thing not back country)

Put them in a Quart size Ziploc and just leave the top open for a few days in the house prior to leaving.

Bring something other than just MRE's. It's tough to explain why you just got caught munching on your buddies candy stash at 2 AM.

  Also I found this year that hitting some problem areas with Bag Balm in the morning is a great preventative maintenance plan for chaffing.  Sounds funny but chaffing bad can sure take your mind off of a hunt in a hurry.

How about keeping you keys for your rig someplace very very safe. Getting back to the truck thinking your going home but your not can be a real bummer. Never loose your keys in the field!!!

I never take my keys hunting or fishing with me ever for that reason
