Bowtech Carbon Knight vs. Carbon overdrive?
« on: July 16, 2015, 07:44:58 AM »
I shot the overdrive last night and was pretty impressed.  I have always shot Hoyt but this one has me thinking about getting a new bow.  Is it worth the $300 extra or is the Carbon Knight just as good?

I have not shot the overdrive but I own a knight and love it.  Rock Creek Archery up there by you should have both for you to try?  GREAT guy and he will take care of you and have you stacking arrows in no time.  I was up there a year ago and was pretty sure he had Knights in stock, but again that was year and many beers ago....

If not what is your draw length/weight?  Mine is set 30.5"@60# draw and I could always adjust for your length to let you shoot it a bit and get a feel for it..

Overdrive. Having two yokes to tune with and control cam lean makes it worth the extra money. :twocents:

I keep my distance from club & hinge limbs.  But if we are talking cams the Binary Overdrive is definitely worth the extra change.  IMO

Never shot the Hoyt but love my Carbon Knight.  It is amazing how light it is.  fast and very forgiving.  Very short bow.  I have no regrets so far and I have had mine for about 3 months.  paid $480 on E-bay
