Anybody know if they are catchable from shore off point no point? Or anywhere else in kitsap for that matter? I know guys can have some success with silvers and kings there at times. I'm thinking I should take the kiddos out soon but would like to avoid the Puyallup, which is the only other place I have chased the pinks before.

I'd bet you a pink buzz bomb they are!

See plenty of people casting from there. Carefull of the tides...it can drop off pretty quick and is exposed. Be safe/be smart.

He'll bet you a pink buzzbomb  :chuckle:

This one day I lost my only pink buzzbomb so I Carolina-Rigged a pink squid and did better with that   Worked so good I never bought another buzzbomb the rest of the trip.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Nice catch cp where u drop your pots at ?

I’d never post that – proprietary info-

CP, you got a nice bar crab in there love those they are the tastiest and it looks like a little rockie hiding in the mix. Crabbing has been phenomenal this season and still going strong in my favorite hole. Been getting loads of the bar crab and having to throw back limit after limit after filling limits on 4 pot drop we mostly end up rail dumping 2 pots every time, don't even know why I'm hauling extra pots around  anyway nice catch's everybody keep'm coming

Of all the times to be in eastern WA as my ma had to pick now to get new windows installed for her house.  No pinks caught yet for me as the days are clicking by.  Getting antsy reading all these good reports.

Got a report from a buddy fishing the snohomish today. He landed two, seen a dozen or so others caught throughout the day. Won't be long....

I'll keep that in mind. We ususally fish off to the side and a I end up letting my lure drop add letting my 4yo reel in bullhead and sand dabs. But I think he could actually handle some humpy fishing. He turns 5 in 2 weeks, time for a new rod I think. Superman can only take him so far...

I took the family to the beach at Mukilteo on Monday afternoon and did a little shore fishing. I was there at the wrong time and tide, but still threw out a few times. I had fun taking the kids out for the afternoon. A couple guys that came in on the boats had some luck with humps and crabs.

Might be the wrong place to ask, but how are you guys setting up for shore fishing for humpies I can't fit my entire family in the boat, so I might be stuck on the shore more frequently to keep my wife happy.  :dunno: I will use the search function when I am home, but just in case anyone has a quick answer, that would be greatly appreciated. From the sounds of it, a pink buzz bomb might be the way to go, but what size?
