Mauser bolt action 16 gauge shotgun

Has anyone ever seen a shotgun that was converted from a German military bolt action rifle.   I have one that needs a new home but it's appeal is mainly for a collector.

Mine I believe is the Hart shotgun and here's a webpage that lists how Germany came to produce bolt action shotguns after WW 1.

If there's any interest I can provide more details.   It's in the gun safe and keeps trying to knock a Browning 20 gauge out onto the floor.

They're neat, but like you said, a bit out there for most people.  Haven't seen one for a while, but they used to sell for $300-ish
