Where to find smelt ?

I'm looking for some smelt to use for sturgeon bait next month on the Columbia. I'd prefer smelt from the Columbia drainage if any is available.
Any Ideas where to check?

I have some frozen in vacuum bags from a couple years ago when we had a season on the Cowlitz.  They're yours if you want them.  Should still be perfect for bait.
