I ended up going in on the 3100. Was not my plan but I stopped at the lookout above and watched a guy shoot one and there were at least half a dozen more bulls, so I ran down the road. By the time I got there a couple guys had pushed the majority across the river to the 3000 line and they were headed that way. I just patiently walked my way through the mudflow and was able to sneak up on 8 bulls.  Picked as respectable heavy dark horned bull, 1 shot and the real work began. Thanks for the information. I didn't see any cows in there, but a few people said there were a bunch Friday evening.
