Yeah, really interested in the after action report.  And I am pretty sure I found the apartments, but after I came back here to post, I saw that things were already under control.

So you found his boat on the internet for him? :dunno:

If so, theyll get a slap on the wrist and be out stealing more stuff in no time.  All while spending their cash on drugs and getting their food, medical care, and housing covered by the working class.

Were the apartments off of 122nd St?  The pic looked very familiar to me.

No. I sought his pic. Posted it here, started searching, then came back to post my answer, and found that he posted that the boat was found and impounded.

I'll let him fill the details in if he chooses.

The police called very shortly after the Puyallup Dept was informed it was in the area. Apparently someone called in a suspicious vehicle at Milwaukee and valley Ave in the Sumner area, From what I can gather they did not get the losers who took the boat but they have a couple of suspects  >:( who will probably get a slap on the wee wee and continue living off the system and stealing everybody else's hard earned goods :bash: :bash:. Thanks again for everybody's help

Glad to hear you got it back, sucks it went to impound as you pay for that.
Like has been said, lock it up good, tongue lock to slow them down or cause them to look elsewhere, python cable through each wheel with large heavy duty pad locks, and or even remove one wheel when its parked at your house....

Can I guess the apartment complex, so that everyone in the area knows where to look for their stolen stuff?

You better bolt that kicker to your boat and lock it too or you will be buying a new 4 stroke kicker!!!!

Locks and deterrents are better than nothing.  That said, they can still be picked.  Still worth trying.  I will say, be careful with your kickers.  I've had 3 stolen, 2 locked and cabled and one welded.  The welded one they cut right through my aluminum transom.  Two out of my drive way and one out of a secured storage lot that also had two RV's/toy haulers cleaned out. I am lucky to be able to store in garage now but was always fighting thieves.  Only thing that worked was removing everything including electronics.  PITA but not nearly as much as replacing.

It's not your fault it was stolen but it is more common than people want to think.  Glad it was recovered and man that had to be a sinking feeling.  Even better it is still in working order.

Well I finally made to the impound lot to get my boat, let me just say the officers who recovered my boat sure made it sound like it was in a lot better shape then it actually is :'( I guess we’ll see how for insurance  goes  But at least the tweaked losers didn’t get to sell the motors. The only thing that saved the kicker was the locking bolt holding it to the transom.

It would be nice if there was a centralized database of stolen boat engine serial numbers that a person could check before buying a used engine.  Unfortunately, some people might not care if they are getting a "deal".
