I drew a Skagit River archery tag. Was wondering if anyone knows someone on the south Skagit hwy who might let me use there boat launch for the season.  I just need a spot to take out my drift boat for scouting and hunting. Already know where too launch.  Somewhere between Day Creek and Sedro preferably.  There's only about 5 miles of river i need to float. I hate to have to float the whole 12 1/2 miles and have to drive all the way into Sedro by the RV park to retrieve the boat. That's the opposite side of the river.  Thanks in advance

Tried to pin point in on maps for coords but cross over day creek on the s. Skagit and within a few miles I believe, you値l drop down around a curve where it flattens out and on the left is a launch. You値l most likely see drift boat trailers there. I値l ask my buddy out there about the other one we have been to.

Is it on West Gilliagan creek ???  i checked out the one about a mile West of old day creek cut off.  she is a tight fit but doable as long as there no day drinkers there cooling off

The launch between Sedro and Gilligan is garbage. Gilligan spit is owned by land trust now and there is no boat access either way,(maybe kayak). Best bet is the launch just past Lyman Ferry on the left before you cross Loretta creek, though it is quite rough as well you should be fine with a drift boat.
