Arrow Fletching Colors for Turkey Hunting
« on: July 04, 2020, 03:09:11 PM »
What color fletchings are people running while taking turkey with a bow? I know blaze orange is great for recovery and while honing skills but I have no experience with it in the field with keen eyed turkey. Any out there with first hand thoughts on the subject?
I laugh in the face of Danger. Ha ha ha Danger Face!

White crown and bright pink fletching for me! All from the ground and no blind. I’ve never had a game animal spook due to my colors that I know of. Got my idea a long time ago watching Fred eichler take every animal with that set up.
May my presence go unnoticed, may my shot be true, may the blood trail be short.

Amen

I would avoid colors that make you looks like a turkey. Like red/orange/blue. More then one person has got shot Because they had red on there hat or something. I just always assume a shot arrow is a lost arrow and go with green or such colors.
