I was very excited when my dad came home and told me I had won a turkey hunt.  We went and got camo, a hunting license, boots, and ear protection with the money donated from members of this forum.
We got to Bearpaw Outfitters on Friday in the evening.  When we went to the door we were met by Daniel and Dale who gave us a turkey choke, some quality turkey rounds and showed us to our cabin. After we unpacked into our room we went shooting to pattern our guns.  After that we came back and had spaghetti for dinner, then went to bed because we had to be up early.
The next morning we woke up at 4am and got dressed in our camo.  We went to the dining room and had biscuits and gravy for breakfast.  After eating Daniel took us to a field full of cows.  He set up a blind for us and dropped us off after giving us instructions.
About an hour later around a hundred turkeys started to make their way into the field.  The other group with us shot one bird and shortly after a bird stopped in front of us and I shot one too!  Daniel drove down to us and after lots of pictures took us back to the lodge.
Once we got back Daniel cleaned our bird for us and packed up the meat.  We thanked everyone, packed up our stuff and said goodbye.
I am very grateful that Bearpaw Outfitters gave me this great experience!

My son had a great time, I have been trying to put him on a turkey for a while and Bearpaw Outfitters did it!
Thank you very much for this!

I love this contest and I love reading the stories. I'm really liking the new split with two hunters. Gives us twice the fun reading.

Outstanding guys! Great job to all involved and especially Dale for continuing to do this hunt and finding success for the next generation of hunters

I loved reading this news. Congrats to the two winners!

Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate. - Psalm 127:3-5
