Sun Mt Lodge area ??
« on: January 24, 2021, 05:49:35 PM »
Hey guys,
So my wife decided to book us a get away up at Sun Mt Lodge the first week of March. I’ve never been out there and was curious if it’s worth looking for some sheds in that area? Not looking for anyone’s spots , just curious if it’s an area worth looking around? I’d like to get in some research for where to go if that area is worth checking out. Thanks so much for any insight. Feel free to Pm me if you don’t want to answer on the board here. Just thought it might be fun to get out with the wife (who’s never shed hunted with me) and look for a few.

Well that’s definitely not the answer I was hoping to hear, but it is Washington so I don’t know why I’m surprised..

The guy that owns that place is as anti hunting as you can get. I wouldn’t spend a dime there.

Big Buck wildlife area is close by.

Interesting. I’ve never been there, but my wife wanted to get out of town and go snowshoeing so I thought it would be a win/win.... wife snow shoes while we look for sheds :-)

Yeah, I agree... we’re not going until the first week of March. I wouldn’t even look any earlier as to not run critters around in the dead of winter.
