I’m trying to live trap them to get them back to the person who lost them.

You know who sent them loose? YepDomestic rabbits pose a huge problem when they get loose or when they’re set loose. They spread disease and pose a big health risk. They breed at unbelievable rates. They’re destructive. I’d kill them all. I definitely wouldn’t give them back to someone who turned them loose on purpose. If they escaped and the owners are actively trying to retrieve them, that’s another story. Otherwise a pellet gun or an arrow run through them would serve them better.
