With my second wirehair. Unbelievable dogs. Looked into clubs, but only found the NAVHDA? Wasn't what I was searching for

My buddies runs German wire hairs. Buddy in Alaska  duck, hair and ptarmigin hunts his. Buddy in was upland and waterfowl his. Great family and hunting dog.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

My first one was an English Setter, her Father was a Field Trialer, best thing for her was to hunt her with my Friends Springer, stayed/ worked closer. Trained on Bob Whites off season.  Current one is half English Setter half Brittany , works closer, listens better.... smart as a whip  she's almost 11 now, still active & spry
