They sure are proud of their clothing line.

I don’t disagree with that at all.

I think their current line is "grown and sewn" in the us - literally everything, components and construction is from the US.  US cotton, US thread, weaving in the us, sewing, brass rivets from the US.  Pretty crazy to think about how hard that would be to source.

That said, I don't wear $125 jeans but if I did it would probably be theirs.  I bet their awesome.

It is a bit spooky to think about a $400 import hunting coat and what it would cost all sourced from the US.

My wife got me a nice hat from them this fall. Hasn’t been cold enough to use it, but it looks awesome.

The answer.... $400.  The difference is the profit, one will produce a lot more profit and support some far off country.

Yeah, they are one of the few 100% made in USA and actually mean it. Their supplement might be the exception to a minimal degree. But even their bottles are made in the USA.

Their prices are actually on par with the competition. So I would think that their hunting gear would be on par with Sitka and the like.

if they had extended sizing I would be all over their boots. the Built boots look great.
Only usa built work boot ive reliably found is the danner quarry, and they are hard to source in a 16.

There are lots of custom shops who should be able to make you a boot as good or better than Origin or Danner for around the $4-500 mark.
A lot of them are in Washington state! From the reviews I have read, that Origin boots may not hold up to real hard work as hoped.
