I started trying to get a different angle for you.  He went out to about 500 and frolicked around.   Pretty blurry and far away.   Then I fell asleep. Lol.

Haaa! I think only someone like you could fall asleep watching a monster like that!!

:chuckle:  No, no, I meant I fell asleep while looking at photos trying to get a different angle for you posted.  I assure you, not even I would fall asleep watching this beast.

Again, sorry for the poor photos.  500 yards out, lots of mirage.   He had 17 ladies with him if I recall correctly.  I'm sure there will be some genes of this guy out there for future generations.

My guess is he has broke off a point or two, but bottom line, pretty good set of antlers

Man Bone, i sure have been enjoying your pictures this year!
How many days do you spend out in the field taking pictures? I would love to sit around a campfire and listen to some of your stories and experiences from the past!

Thank you Sneaky!   This year I had 14 days off over 3 weeks.  I made use of 13 of them.  In the old days I’d take almost a month off, but probably still only film about 20 days.  I need to do more campfire sitting.  That sounds nice.

Thanks for posting more pics of him as the rest of us daydream about meeting him one day
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

:yeah: thank you Bone for listening to your fans and posting your "lesser quality" photos  :chuckle: What an incredible animal! And thanks for always sharing your photos with us, you've earned some extra campfire sitting time for sure
