American rifle company makes some nice rings, if you install a rail first they have a cheat sheet where you just stack pennies up and then set your scope at the clearance you want, depending on the amount of pennies you use will determine what height rings to buy

Use Talley Ltwt aluminum and be done with it.
Depending on barrel contour you might get away with Medium.
Highs are only 1/10 inch higher. Totally skip a rail mount.(Unnecessary)

Talley aren’t even in the same league as any of the other rings mentioned. I had Talley, they flex and bend. Wasn’t impressed. My buddy lapped his and watching them flex I said never again
I'm dealing with a set of talley rings right now that for whatever reason do not appear to be holding a 34mm Leupold scope on a suppressed 300wsm.  Talley told me to up the torque spec to 25 in/lb on the caps...and that is still not working.  Based on this very (frustrating) recent experience, I'd opt for other quality rings (e.g., nightforce, seekins, etc.).  I've not had this issue with other talley's, but I've not used such a large/heavy scope before either.  My  :twocents:
