Sure, need spikes for some project?
I've never seen pictures of them posted before now. I have seen plenty of spikes with a deer still attached, witch made me wonder where they all go.

That's a very cool shed TeacherMan! I'm envious of your snow-free ground, I'm can't even get in to my areas yet. Keep posting your finds, I'm living vicariously through you  :chuckle:

I actually had plans to shed hunt locally around my place Sunday, I spotted my big 200” WT Saturday night with a bald head bedded down. I really want to get in and find his head gear. Then it started snowing Saturday night 😜 So we hopped in the truck Sunday morning and went about 3 hrs south and hit the steep breaks of the Snake. I was shed hunting in a t shirt and 46 degree sunshine.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

Me too.  I had some cool teachers back in the day but never had a shed scoring class!

I put out several whitetail sheds that break into the 80s and a couple mule deer that break 100”.

Full disclosure, I’m not a shed hunter, but sometimes sheds find me! Found this 2 days ago, saw a forky yesterday with one horn, they are just starting to drop in southern Idaho.

Thats awesome teacherman. First fresh one of the year for me a few minutes ago, pretty nice blacktail time to find the other side...

That's a sweet photo right there!  Great shed, but also captures how hard it is to find blacktail sheds!

Thanks, yes its hard to see them from more than a few feet away a lot of the time. Sheds weren't really on my mind this morning but I saw this south facing knob so started scanning a bit and there it was!

I had the third in the world for a decade or two at 93 and change, so that would be interesting.  I guess that was typical so you could be talking NT.
