Hit the evening tide with friends tonight. I tangled into 30 ish fish in 4 hours of fishing. Ton of fun on a 4-8lb noodle rod. We got a decent amount of silvers too but we weren’t keeping any, just down there for fun. More people than usual in the spot we always go but everyone was having fun.
They is where you aint and you aint where they is.

Is the puyallup accessible by boat at all, or is it walk in only?

You can enter the river from the salt, or launch your boat under the 11th street bridge…most don’t know about it.

Been using that ramp for a looooong time, with almost zero competition. ;)

And no, I’m not at all worried about word getting out!

I thought you weren’t allowed to fish from a boat on the Puyallup

Sanity check..  Nisqually and some other rivers are closed today for last day of the month tribal netting..  If I'm reading the regs right, looks like Puyallup is open today and not part of that.

Can anyone confirm I'm not missing something

Skunked by 96th two days in a row. I hooked one yesterday but didn't land it. Watch two people chuck some pinks back. I'll try again next week. Good luck everyone!

The duwamish has been hot, and it’s real fishing where the fish actually bite your lure.
