Ive shot 410-430 for decades and had 0 issues at 65lb draw going thru animals. Shot a moose twice at 65 yards with clean pass throughs. Todays bows with a quality arrow and good sharp head there isnt anything you cant kill in the states

I'm 65 # and 29 inch draw , three years ago I went with the Easton Axis 5mm arrows in 340 spine and tipped it with a G5 Stryker V2 125 gr broadhead . Added a little weight but not to crazy and have had great results. Doesn't break the bank , fly like darts and hit harder than my old lighter setup for sure. At 70 pounds seems like ur at 300 spine or stiffer with 125 gr head but didn't look at any charts. Good luck and have a great season.
I shot the bull in my Avatar in 2020 hard quartering away 30 yard shot , entered left side about last rib and was stuck into the right front leg bone after full pass through long ways . Bull went down in 1 minute never leaving my sight. Only other kill was mule deer buck at 20 yards and blew right through. Happy with all with my arrow and broadhead setup.
Lastly my original arrow setup was 400 spine / 100 gr broadhead at 398 gr total weight. I wasn't happy with the performance on animals penetration wise, I knew i was too light. My new setup my total arrow weight is 460 gr with maybe 30 gr extra forward counting broadhead. My new setup consistently is 4 to 5 inches deeper in my practice target when shooting both and surprisingly still today my point of impact didn't change out to 40 yards with the heavier arrow. I only moved the 50 yard pin very slightly and 60 also a little more. I haven't done extensive testing or copied anything I read , I just went slimmer & a little heavier with great results.
Straight arrow, properly tuned bow, and SHARP broadleaf is far more important than FOC, weight, etc. Lack of penetration is usually due to dull blades and or poor arrow flight. Dull blades tear flesh more than they cut resulting in more drag and poor bleeding. So many folks will replace blades or sharpen blades then pull them in and out of a quiver for early and late season, get them wet on raining days, shoot them into targets at camp, etc. All those things dull blades. Hell even just leaving blades exposed to the open air will oxidize the blade edge to the point of being dull. Maintain those edges boys! Sharpen them or replace them. Replacement blades are cheap in the grand scheme of things. I'll swap blades mid week on a hunt.
