Only 31 Springers counted at Bonneville so far.

It’s to early for those numbers to mean anything but there’s more that have came over this year then last year so far. A little hope for a stronger than forecasted run at least.

Any weekend reports? Sounded like hit or miss from the few reports I saw elsewhere.

Fished a ways below Willow Grove Saturday and yesterday.  Saturday was pretty busy, but only saw 1 fish caught. We were only out about 3 hours. Yesterday wasn't quite as busy. Sat on the hook from just before 10 until after 5. By 3 or so most boats cleared out. 2 or 3 of us left. At 430 the boat directly below us got 1. Then got 2 more by 510.

Was out yesterday below i5. Mark, the few fish but no bites whatsoever. Talk to a few people they said the same thing marked a few but no nets flying.

When you say below I5 do you mean between the bridges or down at Davis Bar?

Hit or miss, rain or shine I'll be at Portco Thursday and depending how things go maybe Kalama Friday.

Good luck out there!

The GPS show out of Portland had some guide on there Sunday which caught some of them with herring. I'd follow that boat with some herrings very close to bottom..........

Had a long but decent day on the water at I5 today. Did not rain too bad but was chilly with the breeze. Anchored up from 8-1 with no bites, trolled from 1-5:30 and managed to scratch one out at the bottom of the airport troll. Not many boats working the area throughout the day. Saw 3 others caught, no fish checker at the ramp.

We fished out of Kalama this AM, ended up going 1 for 3 on the troll. The fish we landed had too many fins though. There was quite a bit more boats working the area, especially Prescott down to Rainier but we only saw 2 other fish landed on the day. Fish checker had 5 fish for 12 boats when we pulled out at about 2pm. Good luck out there through the weekend! I have to go back to work.  :(
