Caramel & Chinese BBQ pork.
« on: December 29, 2024, 05:41:56 PM »
Our first go at homemade caramel.
Tried 2 different recipes, both taste good so far, but seem a little soft. We’ll see how they do after setting overnight.

And another batch of Chinese bbq pork. Homemade is so far beyond superior to any I’ve had before.

Two things I absolutely love.
Caramel is my favorite sweet treat.

Are you willing to share your bbq pork recipe?

Your title had me confused a little, thinking it was one dish and not 2 separate dishes. Wasnt sure if that combo sounded good or not :chuckle:

Looks amazing! Funny is this is all over my search history from today. Looking for a good recipe I can make gluten free for the wife. Hardest part was figuring out what they called the bbq pork so I could search. Great job!

What is your caramel recipe?

I tried a “Six minute Caramel” recipe, I burnt it a bit. I was the only one who would eat it  :chuckle:
