Pink run timing
« on: May 09, 2025, 01:43:57 PM »
Howdy.

Does anyone have good data on the expected timing for peak of the Pink Salmon run in south Puget Sound?

I've got a couple nephews that live in Utah.   Hoping to get them up at a time we can really get into them.

I need to get them timing fairly quickly so they can get time off.

Thanks!

Dan

You can scroll through WDFW creel reports at whatever launch you want, probably the best indicator.  For MA9, peak is about mid august.  This year there will be so many that you certainly won't need to hit the pink to put limits in your boat.

This was Aug 20th at the peak of the run off of Mukilteo. Two weeks later they were gone

H88 if you add some vitamin R and V8 juice with those doughnuts you will have the ultimate boat breakfast! I agree mid August to first week of September is great Humpy fishing!  :twocents:
